David Rodriguez confirmed that he and Ron Marz aren't working on any comics at the moment, but are ready and waiting if they are chosen again.

The comics were good I really wished there was more ugh I want to see Malefor again...

I don't think the comics ever came Down Under, unfortunately. I never saw them anywhere! So this news doesn't hurt me that much...
But I hope they do continue to be made for the sake of the series.
