Based on the words of a game store company on their Skylanders PowerUp Rewards Club ending?

No new game in the series, what rewards to get?

It's pointless to have a rewards club of a franchise that is taking a break.

Gamestop announced that they’re ending their Skylanders Adventure PowerUp Rewards membership club. They mentioned Skylanders is ending too, but it may be speculation on the company’s part.

Yeeeeeaaaaahhh- Nah.
I'll wait for official confirmation from THE SOURCE before I can believe this.

Besides, even if it did end, there would still be plenty of potential for the series to come back. All it needs to do is ABANDON THE PORTAL OF POWER!!!
The series should have done that after SuperChargers! *sigh*

Can I also point out that this Twitter page appears to be run by a guy who is CLEARLY a retro-fan?
Not helping that is that the first comment under the post says "Good riddance."
Ain't buying this for one second.

Believe it or not, SpyroUniverse posts news on all three Spyros, and is a Portal Master too.

If Spyro fans were honest with us.

Exactly, Kairi.
Lots of Spyro fans are exclusively retro-fans and despise us and the series.
I think I'll wait for Activision to say something.
